The RemotionAI Live Editor is a split-screen interface that lets you refine AI-generated videos through natural language conversation with Claude AI, with changes reflected in real-time via the Remotion Player preview. It supports iterative refinement of any Remotion Claude video — adjusting timing, colors, typography, and animations through conversational prompts.

The split-screen experience

The Live Editor is a two-panel layout. On the left, you have a chat interface where you talk to Claude. On the right, a live Remotion Player shows your video in real-time. When Claude makes changes to your composition, the preview updates immediately — no waiting for a re-render.

Natural language refinement

Some examples of prompts that work well:

• "The text is hard to read against the background — can you add a darker overlay?"
• "Scene 3 feels too fast. Give it another 2 seconds."
• "I like the layout but the font feels too corporate. Something more friendly."
• "Add my logo in the bottom right corner throughout the video."

How we handle speed

The first generation uses Claude's most capable model to get the structure and design right. For refinements, we switch to faster models — Claude Haiku for simple tweaks and Sonnet for more involved changes. Most refinements apply in 2–5 seconds.
